Pulaski County is hiring for the position of Maintenance Foreman to oversee the county’s building construction, building grounds, and maintenance and repair activities. This position plans, schedules, directs, and inspects the projects and tasks of the maintenance staff; purchases and maintains materials and equipment; and maintains HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
Must be a high school graduate and prefer applicants with additional community college course work including considerable supervisory experience in construction, repair, and maintenance. Must possess ability to comprehend plans, specifications, and detailed reports and establish effective working relationships with county departments.

Emergency Management Coordinator
Applications are now being accepted for the position of Pulaski County Emergency Management Coordinator. This position is critical in planning for and responding to local emergencies. Minimum educational requirements are a two year degree or equivalent, with extensive emergency services training or experience preferred. This position performs routine semi-skilled custodial work involving the care and cleaning of the animal shelter and ensures that proper cleaning protocol is adhered to by all those participating in cleaning of kennels and cages.
