Pulaski County is seeking an individual for an administrative assistant in the county garage. The primary responsibilities are processing work orders, ordering parts and placing purchase orders, scheduling maintenance, maintaining fleet records, and general office assistance for the mechanics. Applicant should have effective verbal communication skills with the public, and other county employees. Requires excellent data entry computer skills. Knowledge of automotive systems and garage operations is preferred. Applicant must be a high school graduate or equivalent.
Salary range is 22,975 – 33,634. This is a full time position with benefits: health insurance, dental insurance, life insurance, optional vision insurance, state retirement program, optional 457 retirement program, sick and vacation leave, paid holidays.
