In the event of a disaster, are you and your family prepared? Complete the following 3 steps to protect you and your loved ones in an emergency:
 

1) Get a Kit - Have basic supplies on hand. It could take days for help to arrive if businesses close, fallen trees block roads and power goes out in your area. You should have supplies to last at least three days.

2) Make a Plan - Know how to contact loved ones. Discuss with your family the types of hazards and threats in your area and what to do in each case.

3) Stay Informed - Listen to local, up-to-date information. You should listen for the most local, up-to-date information before, during and after a disaster.
